Most Admired Kingdom Company #17: House Blend Cafe :: USA

"The dream for House Blend Café (www.houseblendcafe.com) began the summer of 2004. The question was asked could we start a business that would exist to serve a great product, connect with the people who come by in a deep way, and serve our local and global community giving away 100% of the net profits that are received?

For our context in West Orange County FL, we felt like House Blend Café was the answer to that question. Restoration Concept, Inc. (RC Inc) is the company that owns House Blend Café. Their purpose involves entrepreneurialism with the intent to give away profit for greater service and purpose. Josh Taylor and Kevin Merideth were hired to get House Blend Café off the ground. They began that process in June of 2005. House Blend Café opened its doors to the public on February 1st, 2006. They celebrated their grand opening on the 15th of that same month.

House Blend Café aspires to franchise across the country in order to serve the very purpose described above. We can't wait to see what opportunities are ahead! If you are interested in learning more about House Blend Café or being a part of the incredible journey ahead, please email us."

They now sell their micro-roasted coffee online and ship anywhere in the USA. 100% of the net profits go toward community service projects in Central Florida and around the world. You can access the online store from their home page at houseblendcafe.com
